The Big Dog Show at Menello Museum of American Art

While out-and-about yesterday afternoon I noticed a really interesting exhibit on the lawns of The Menello Museum of American Art near Loch Haven Park. After doing a little digging I discovered it’s a showing called The Big Dog Show, and it lasts through mid-March.

You may have seen these before:

The "Red Dog" at Menello Museum of American Art But now you’ll notice these:

Untitled Here’s a little more about the exhibit, as detailed on Menello’s website:

Through spring 2013, “Red Dog” has company with the addition of Dale Rogers’ fresh pack of twenty 8-foot-tall, 10-foot-long dog sculptures made of Corten steel. The collars with nametags on the sculptures indicate those that have been “adopted” to benefit local animal charities.”

Way cool, and super sweet! Have you been by to see these big dogs yet?
