#Super8Movie Returns

OK, I might need you guys to help us out with this one. Earlier in the week I ran across some Tweets using the hashtag #Super8Movie. I was intrigued, I must admit (although not quite enough intrigued to do a little Google research). Although I haven’t seen the movie yet, I’ve heard it’s really good, and am aware the DVD release is this coming Tuesday, 11/22. It’s quite clear this Twitter promotion is to help generate buzz about the release.

Officially, the promotion is being referred to as “Join the Hunt for #Super8Movie”. Apparently, several cities around the country are participating, including our very own Orlando. You can Tweet–I think–and look for clues around the city, and earn your chance to win a copy of the DVD?

Does anyone know anything about this? Heard anything?

This sounds like fun! I had no idea there was a interactive scavenger hunt for Super 8. The movie is definitely worth the watch. Think of a mash-up between Stand By Me, Goonies, and Cloverfield. Thank you for the heads up on this one!

We’ll have to be sure to watch the film, then! Sounds good.

I’m definitely interested in hearing more about the scavenger hunt. If you happen to find out any info on Twitter or elsewhere, be sure to let us know!
